1992 - 1997 Virginia Home Energy Rating Organization
In 1992 Ken was elected to the board of the Virginia Home Energy Rating Organization, then a fledgling operation. It has become the model large state HERS provider program in the country. He has served as the President of that organization since 1993. He has been active in establishing a statewide HERS in Virginia since the first advisory committee meeting in 1990 and served as it's President from 1992 to 1997. In this position he has been able to direct VHERO's successful effort to maintain it's leadership role in the Development of new HERS programs Nationwide
